Torit County
Torit County is an administrative region in Eastern Equatoria State of South Sudan, with headquarters in the town of Torit, which is also the state capital.
==Location==
Torit County is located in Eastern Equatoria State, in southern South Sudan, close to the border with Uganda. The county is bordered by Lafon County to the north, Ikotos County to the east and south, Magwi County to the west and Juba County in the extreme northwest. (See map to the right).
The town of Torit, where the county headquarters are located, lies approximately , by road, east of Juba, the capital and largest city in South Sudan.〔(Estimated Road Distance Between Juba And Torit With Maap )〕 The coordinates of Torit County are: 4° 30' 0.00"N, 32° 30' 0.00"E (Latitude: 4.5000; Longitude: 32.5000).
